Who we are

Speaxo makes audio language courses and runs speaxo.com. For any question about your data, write to info@speaxo.com.

What we keep when you ask for a free lesson

• Your email address.
• Whether you ticked the box to hear about new lessons.
• The date and time of your sign-up and of your confirmation, the course you asked for and the version of the wording you agreed to.
• A one-way code made from your IP address, used only to stop someone from flooding the form. We do not keep the address itself.

Why

To send you the lesson you asked for, with a confirmation email first, so nobody can sign you up without you knowing. This is the service you request (GDPR, article 6(1)(b)).

If you ticked the box, to tell you when new lessons and levels come out. This is your consent (GDPR, article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who else sees it

Nobody: we never sell, rent or share your address. It is stored on our server, and our emails are sent through our host's mail service, OVHcloud, in the European Union.

How long

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click.

Cookies

Our pages set no cookies and contain no trackers or analytics. The fonts are served from speaxo.com.

Your rights

You can see, correct or delete what we hold about you, object to its use, or withdraw your consent: write to info@speaxo.com and we answer within a month. If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
